Is a public health professional and grant writer dedicated to advancing health equity and supporting underserved communities. Currently, she serves as a volunteer Grant Writer for DC Music Summit, where she researches funding opportunities, develops grant proposals, and creates funding strategies to support organizational programming and growth. Her work has included submitting multiple state and private grants and developing a 2025 funding strategy using Instrumentl.
Previously, she worked as an Operations Coordinator at the NIH, where she supported two laboratories through project planning, travel coordination, and administrative management. Her academic work includes extensive public health research, including a literature review of over 150 studies on social support for Latina teenage mothers in the United States.
Throughout her career, she has focused on addressing health disparities through initiatives such as designing a mental health program for LGBTQ+ youth and conducting outreach for Spanish-speaking, undocumented communities. She is passionate about healthcare as a human right and committed to advancing health equity through research, community engagement, and development work..
